W. James Jenkins Jr.
He was born on May 16 to William Jenkins Senior and Essie Jenkins in Selma Alabama in 1958. He is the eldest of fifteen children. He answered the call into ministry in August of 1978 at the Lively Stone M. B. Church in Chicago, Illinois where his father William Jenkins Senior pastored for 57 years. He married Gloria D. Williams on June 21, 1986, and they have four children. He is the Pastor of Flesh Becoming Word Church since its inception in 2002. He has thirty-eight years of ministry experience as a Preacher, Teacher, Pastor and Evangelist. He’s earned a B. A. degree in Religious Education and a M. A. degree in Theological Studies, M. A. in Psychology. Pastor Jenkins has ministered across the United States carrying the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has recently acknowledged and accepted the Holy Spirit bestowing on him the gift of healing and the call to the Office of Prophet. His eternal commitment to advancing the kingdom of God and the salvation and discipleship of every non-believer has proven to be his passion for living. He lives to be the embodiment of the Flesh Becoming Word in the year of our Lord (John 1:14).
